← Home For businesses with an existing website that is not performing

Your site exists. Help future customers find you.

I handle the full picture — Google rankings and AI search — with plain-English reporting and no lock-in.

Is this the right service for you?

This service is for businesses that already have a website but are not getting the enquiries they expected from it.

Maybe the site looks fine but traffic is thin. Maybe you were ranking and then dropped. Maybe you have never invested in SEO and want to start. Or maybe you have heard about AI search and want to know what you should actually be doing about it.

If any of that sounds familiar, this is the right page.

What does modern SEO actually cover in 2026?

SEO has four main pillars: the authority your site carries, the content on it, the technical structure underneath, and how people behave when they land on it. All four need to work together.

Alongside those four, AI search is emerging as a closely linked layer that requires a more modern approach. Google now answers questions directly before you click anything. ChatGPT and Perplexity recommend local businesses when people ask. Getting your business into those answers is not separate from good SEO — it is an evolution of it.

For those who want the terms: this is called GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation). The short version is that I structure your content so AI tools trust it, cite it, and pass it on to the people looking for exactly what you offer.

One honest caveat on GEO results: AI crawlers operate on their own schedule. I can optimise for them from day one, but results may take months to show up as the crawlers work through your content. That is the nature of the technology, not a reflection of the work being done.

What do I actually do each month?

No mystery, no black box

At the start

A full audit of your site to find what is holding rankings back — technical issues, content gaps, speed problems, and anything that is making search engines or AI tools work harder than they should.

Ongoing each month

  • Technical fixes as needed: speed, structure, mobile performance, crawlability
  • On-page optimisation across your key pages
  • Schema markup and structured data so search engines and AI tools can read your site properly
  • Content recommendations and, where included, content written for you
  • Google Business Profile management and local search optimisation
  • GEO audits on higher-tier plans, with honest expectations on timeline
  • Plain-English reporting — what I did, what moved, and what is next

How long does SEO actually take?

SEO takes time. You might not see significant movement for three to six months. That is not me stalling; that is just how it works. Anyone promising you page one rankings in two weeks is not being straight with you.

What I will do is keep you updated throughout, explain what I am doing and why, and be here for the long haul. Done properly, SEO compounds over time. It keeps working long after a paid ad stops.

How much does ongoing SEO cost?

Ongoing SEO starts from $300 per month. What is included depends on the size of your site, how competitive your market is, and how much content work is involved. I will scope it properly before anything starts.

One-off SEO audits are also available if you want to understand where your site stands before committing to ongoing work. Get in touch and we will talk through what makes sense for you.

There are no lock-in contracts. I work month to month because I would rather keep clients through results than through paperwork.

Things people ask

SEO questions

Do you work on WordPress sites?

Yes. I can work on WordPress, custom-coded sites, Squarespace, Wix, and most other platforms. Some platforms have technical limitations on what can be changed, and I will tell you upfront if that is going to be an issue.

What if my site needs a rebuild to perform properly?

I will tell you if I think that is the case. Sometimes a few technical fixes are enough. Sometimes the site itself is the problem. I will be straight with you either way. If you are looking at a new build, head over to the Website Design and SEO page.

How do I know if the SEO is working?

I report monthly with plain-English summaries — traffic, rankings, what changed, and what I am working on next. You will always know what is happening.
